MY EVIL PRINCESS: Chapter 2: Hou Lei started her plan

PART 14 – THE INTRODUCTION OF HOU LEI

-I don’t know how to make you believe me, but someday you will see. – Tian Liam answered.

-You don’t need to make me believe in your word, I’m not your lover. Just bring what you said to me to talk with her and prove it to her. – Hou Lei said.

Then they did not say anything to each other more, walked along side by side, Tian Liam still did not move his eyes’ direction out of Hou Lei. He felt something very special about this lady, it pushed him to explore more about her, the desire to know more about her was getting bigger in his mind. But he knew this time was not suitable, she was upset now, he just wanted to walk along with her and look at her beauty under the sunset light.

-It’s my room. – She pointed to the room. – I’ll get there alone, I don’t want anyone to see us going together like this, it’s not good for both you and me.

-Okay. So… - He paused. – Goodbye!

He did not want to say goodbye to her, he wanted to walk beside her more. She had attracted him too much to let him separate with her. He stood there, still looked after her steps, untill she closed the door. “I fall in love with her?”, a thought appeared in his mind. He shook his head and turned back to get to his place.

Hou Lei sat on a chair, put her hands together on the table, and placed her face on her wrist. She missed her family, she wished her parents were here, they would give her some advices and lead her to the right choice. She wished her older brother here to hug her tightly and protect her from the complicated world outside. She felt so lonely in this Palace, she just did not want to fight with anyone. She took a deep breath, and raised her head up, she had to be strong and stronger, she had to kill the Emperor and make him suffer the loss of his family member, then, she would find out the Book of Hou Ma tribe and the Hou magical gem to help her tribe back.

That night, the Prince still could not get enough of thinking about Hou Lei, he rolled on his bed many times, but he did not feel comfortable to fall asleep. And he continued that till the morning. There was a knock on the door, a maid called him:

-My Third Prince, the Queen wants to meet you early!

-Okay, I know, I will get her palace soon. – He got up and changed his clothes.

There was a maid calling Hou Lei too.

-My Princess, the Queen wants to meet you early! She has some important things to talk with you!

-Thank you, I’ll be there now. – Hou Lei answered.

The maid got in and helped her to change her dress, she told her she wanted to wear some simple clothes, but the maid refused:

-The Queen will punish us for not take care of you good! Please, my Princess, wear the clothes been prepared to you.

Hou Lei took on the colorful dress, she felt unnatural and uncomfortable, but she did not want the maid to get punishment. She then followed the maids to the Queen’s palace, that was a very large building with special decorations. The Queen was sitting on the high step in the building, she saw Hou Lei getting in and smiled gently.

-My Queen! – Hou Lei greeted her.

-Stand up, my girl, you look very beautiful. – She said.

-Thank you, My Queen!

-Don’t be so polite like that, we’re soon-to-be in one family, call me Mother!

-Yes, Mother. – She looked at her. “This Queen seems to be very nice!”, she thought.

-Have a sit, my little girl! – She pointed at a small table on the left side.

Then there were two men getting into the building, Hou Lei widened her eyes when seeing one of them was Xiao Liam.

-My Queen! – The two greeted her.

-Okay, stand up! – The Queen said. – I have someone to introduce to you today. My girl, come here!

Hou Lei stood up and she could see the surprise on Tian Liam’s face. She came to the Queen table, the Queen stood up and got closer to her.

-Let me introduce to you two, Hou Lei, the Princess of the West Land!

-Princess? – Tian Liam surprised. – Princess of the West Land?

-Yes, anything’s wrong? – The Queen asked.

-Erh, nothing! – He paused.

-Hou Lei, this is the Crown Prince, Wang Tian Leong! – She pointed at the older man. – Your soon-to-be husband. And he, - She pointed at the Xiao Liam. – is my son, Wang Tian Liam, the Third Prince!

-The … Third Prince? – Hou Lei surprised.

-You two knew each other before? – The Queen asked.

-Ah, no, mother, I’ve not seen her. – Tian Liam answered and winked to give Hou Lei a signal.

-So good, let celebrate out first meet! – The Queen said.

Hou Lei looked at the Crown Prince, he did not move his eyes out of her from the beginning. He seemed to be attacked by her beauty. The Queen also recognized that she asked:

-Tian Leong, why you still stand there? Get into the table to celebrate!

Tian Liam also looked at Hou Lei strangely. She did not want to look at his eyes this time, with doubt and disbelief. The two Princes could not keep their eyes moving out of sight of Hou Lei. That made her felt uncomfortable. The Queen realized that:

-You two, don’t look her like that, it makes her feel uncomfortable.

-I’m sorry, I don’t mean to do that! – Tian Liam said.

-I’m sorry too, but you are so beautiful, Hou Lei. – The Crown Prince smiled.

After their breakfast, Tian Liam said:

-Let me take you to your room!

-Nah, - The Crown Prince denied. – I will take her to her room.

-Stop arguing like the kids! – The Queen said. – Tian Liam will take her back because she is staying at the North Liam palace.

On the way back, Hou Lei did not say anything. Tian Liam walked around her and always kept his eyes on her like he investigated the criminals.

-My Prince, please stop looking at me like that! You made me scared!

-You know to be scared? – He asked. – I don’t think that. How it could be happening? This world is really really small, now you are going to marry my brother? That’s why you wanted to meet him yesterday? And you were upset when seeing him play with other ladies?

-Stop! I’m not the prisoner for you to asking like that.

-Okay, okay, I don’t ask more, everything will soon to be clear.

After bringing her back to her room, Tian Liam looked at her walking into her room and closing the door with confusion, he asked himself “Am I wrong, I remember the Princess of the West Land named Bei Yiu, not Hou Lei?”.
