PART 6 – WAS ER WANG GOOD?

Er Wang led Hou Lei to his place. On the way, he purposively went to a very long way instead of the direct way to his home. It looked like him want something more than just helping her. He took her across some forests, a river and then two mountains.

-Er Wang, your place seems very far away from my village!

-Yup, so it took time for me to reach your forest and help your tribe. – He answered as his plan went well and Hou Lei did not have any doubt.

The night came, the moonlight gently touched the grass field, Hou Lei and ErWang stopped their journey to take a rest under a big tree. He made a fire for her, then he hunted a chicken and cooked it for their dinner. Hou Lei looked at Er Wang and thought about her Father’s words.

“Is that Father just wants me to take a distance with Main Land men, not this guy, a man of Er tribe? He looks good at taking care of me. He makes me feel as he is my family.”

-It’s ready. – Er Wang corrupted her thinking.

-Oh, thank you! – She received the food from him.

-Hou Lei, you look so nervous, I think this is the first time you meet people out of your village?

-Yup, you are the first man I met not be in Hou Ma tribe.

-Wow, it’s a good chance for me. The first man you met! – He smiled. – You’re very beautiful, smart and kind, I think.

Hou Lei fell asleep early and she had a peaceful sleep with a thought about the man right beside her here will protect her from anything and anyone.

The sun rose, and Ziam Jun led Hou Lei to a large mountain. There was the place that Er tribe was living. They lived in the middle of the mountain with extreme terrain to avoid normal human find out. Er Wang helped Hou Lei to pass through the small road with many big rocks and trees. Hou Lei got a scratch on her leg. Er Wang immediately stopped, let her sit down on a rock and went to find the herbs. A few moments later, he returned and bandaged to her.

-You should be more careful, this way is very difficult to pass. I will piggyback to you.

He brought her through the big trees and the afternoon came, they reached Er village.

He put Hou Lei down and went to the main house in the village.

Er Wang got into the house, he called some of the soldiers to meet him.

-I don’t want Hou Lei to know that her mother is here. Watch Lei Hu carefully, and don’t let her escape or do anything to warn her daughter.

-Ask someone to prepare a good room for Hou Lei, then make some delicious dishes for me and her. And better, you should bring Lei Hu to the back of the mountain, but remember, treat her well, give her food and water, she is still worth taking advantage.

Then he led the soldiers to meet Lei Hu.
