PART 71 – SOLVE THE ARGUMENT

Hou Lei saw the food was still on the table. It seemed like he did not touch them, the teapot was also out cold now. She walked around the room, she could sense the trace of some kind of dark magic. She ran to Tian Liam’s place, he was still sleeping as normal. She checked his pulse, nothing was noticed, but on his body still had the effect of the dark power. She was worried and shook him:

-Tian Liam, are you okay? Tian Liam, answer me!

Worrying about what might be the black assassin came back and hurt him, she stood up and walked to the door, she looked outside to assure no one was watching her room and closed the door. She caught his hand and wrapped it around her shoulder. She struggled to help him walk to her bed and let him lay down on the bed. She raised her hand up and used her magic to expel the dark magic from his body. Her finger pointed at his body and a wave of green magic was led to him. Some minutes later, a dark smoke evaporated from his hand. After all the trace of dark magic was expelled, Hou Lei fell down to the bed, she had used too much magic to treat for him. His consciousness slowly returned, she was laying her head on his chest.

A moment passed, she woke up before him and felt he was holding her hands tightly. He was in a dream and muttered something.

-Hou Lei, please don’t leave, I can’t live without you!

-Tian Liam, are you awake? – She asked and shook him. – I won't be trapped in your plan anymore.

-Hou Lei, it’s my fault to not care about you as I should, please don’t leave me! Hou Lei! – He shouted and suddenly woke up.

Their eyes met each other’s, and he looked down to see that his hands were holding her hand tightly as he wanted to hold her back in his dream. She gently pushed his hands out of her, he was still not getting his mind back from the bad dream. She walked out of the bed and he also followed her. She stopped in front of the table and he stopped, too.

-What happened? – He asked.

-Why do you ask me that? I should be the one asking.

-I have no idea about everything happened. I just remember that when I was sitting next to the table and waiting for you to come back, I saw a strange book, I touched it and then I was here with you. – He put a hand on his forehead and tried to remember the things.

-A book? – Hou Lei surprised. – I don’t have any book here.

-I know, but that book was very strange like it had magic. I can definitely assure you that just a second before I sat down next to the table, the book hadn’t been there.

-That’s so strange, how can it be? – She wondered and knew that the book was the Wu magical book. – Or your eyes had a problem?

-No, it couldn’t be, it was very realistic. – He assured. – And why I was laying on the bed with you next to me? Is that another strange thing?

-I don’t know, when I came back, you were already laying on the bed, and after I checked for your heart’s pulse, you held my hands tightly. Then, you muttered something and woke up.

-Muttering something? – He looked at her suspicious. – Did I say anything bad?

-I don’t care much because your voice was very low.

-I dreamt about the day you leaving me, Hou Lei.

-I don’t ask about your dream, don’t need to tell me about it.

-I’m sorry for my stupid words and actions last night. – He held her hand. – Please forgive me!

-That’s not your fault. I’m always a mysterious lady and every action of me attracts the notice from people, they always think badly about me.

-Hou Lei, my cutie wife, please forgive me! – He made his “cat eyes” with her.

-Well, why don’t you find another “cutie wife” who you can know everything about her and she can be with you every second in you two’s lives?

-No one can replace you, no other “cutie wife”, you are the only one in this world. I can’t get myself out of thinking about you, I can’t stop loving you and my love for you just easily gets bigger day by day without my notice.

-Stop that…

-This is not honey! – He cut her sentence and kissed on her lips.

She beat on his shoulder but he did not stop, continued to kiss her deeply, not let her a chance to say anything. She slowly stopped beating him and let her hands down.

-I’m sorry, Hou Lei, but I can’t stop myself. – He stopped kissing her and hugged her tightly. – Please don’t ever leave me again, even just one day, I can’t live without you!

-I know that, Tian Liam. – She gently comforted him, he was just too emotional to do that. – I won’t leave you, I just scare that…

-Don’t scare anything, I’ll always be with you!

-You won’t know it, Tian Liam, you can’t assure me about that, because if you know everything about me, I’m scared that you will the one leaving me alone.

-That day won’t happen, you can believe in me!

There was a noise coming from his stomach.

-Oh, I can see there is someone needing to be fed! – She laughed.

-I have been waiting for you from noon till now, I hadn’t had my lunch. – He also laughed.

-Okay, so do you have any strength now?

-To do what? – He wondered.

-Come to the kitchen and help me cook your dinner. If you’re tired, I can do it myself, but a little bit longer. – She replied, pointed on his nose.

-Of course, I’ll go with you, I also want to help you cook every day.

They walked to the kitchen, he returned the tray of food which he got from the afternoon to the chefs. He helped her to cut the vegetables and meat while she cooked and seasoned the soup. He looked at her with sparkle eyes, today she let him kiss her without any slap, he smiled to himself about that.

Liu Han walked pass the kitchen and saw Tian Liam was helping Hou Lei cooking, they talked and smiled much. Liu Han felt very angry, it seemed that Hou Lei had all the notice of him now. Liu Han planned to walk into the kitchen but the Soldier General held her hand back:

-Miss Liu Han, please don’t disturb them! You also know the result each time you have the argument with them, not a good story for people in this palace discussing about!

-I just… - She paused and tears came down from her eyes. – You’re right, I shouldn’t meet them this time, just making my self become a joke!

Liu Han left, the General stood there and looked at them, he smiled happily to see that Hou Lei was now more open-minded and Tian Liam was very happy every day with her next to him.

-Wow, they look so delicious! – Tian Liam praised her dishes and got his hand to pick up a slide of meat to put into his mouth.

-Tian Liam! – She beat on his hand. – You’re a Prince, careful with your image in front of others!
