PART 69 – LEI HWA CAME BACK_3

Lei Hwa ignored the owner of the medicine store’s words. She brought the herbs back to her room in the motel, she asked to borrow a cook in the kitchen to extract the herbs. The servant of the motel was surprised that she did not borrow an oven to cook. She closed the door of her room carefully and put the cook on the table in the middle of the room. She added the herbs slowly into the cook with some water and chanted a spell. She waved her hand around the cook and the color of water in there changed from transparent to green, some bubbles also appeared in the pot. After a while, the liquid’s color turned into blue, she poured the liquid out of the cook into a cup.

-Hoping this drug could help me to avoid the sense of Er people long enough to help Hou Lei finish her mission. Can’t let them interrupt me and Hou Lei.

She drank the cup and got a cup of tea right after that. A transparent shield slowly appeared surrounding her body, Lei Hwa felt dizzy and fell down to the ground. In the afternoon, a servant came to her room and knocked on the door:

His voice made her wake up, she based her self on the chair to get up.

-I’m okay, I’ll call you when I need. – She replied.

-So, just call me, I’m right on the ground floor. – He said and left.

-Don’t think that this drug is too powerful like that. – She said to her self. – I need to give Hou Lei a signal to meet me and give her the things.

Lei Hwa sat on the bed and put her hands together, tried her best to be peaceful as much as possible, so Lei Hwa could feel free to let her voice reach to Hou Lei’s place. Hou Lei was watering the flowers in her small garden, suddenly she felt her heart’s pulses faster.

-There was someone calling me! – She wondered.

She put down the bottle of water on her hands to the table in the garden. She looked around to check if the sentries noticed her or not. She walked into her room, closed the door and the window carefully. She then got on the bed and put her hands together, the same type as Lei Hwa did. Their hearts and minds connected with each other.

-Mother, is that you? – She asked.

-Yes, my beloved daughter. – Lei Hwa answered. – Sorry for a long time no connection to you.

-Mother, I miss you so much, how can I meet you?

-At midnight, on the large field in the west of the royal city, I’ll wait for you.

-I’ll try my best to get there, you know, I’m in the palace now, so it’s not easy to get out of here without notice of the soldiers.

After a moment, she came back with a tray of food and a bottle of wine.

-I’m not drunk! – He said weakly. – Today is so much fun.

-Tian Liam, are you okay? – She asked and shook him.

-I’m not drunk, nah, nah, continue to drink with me, Hou Lei.

-Okay, I’ll drink with you! – She poured the wine into his cup.

He picked up the cup and dropped it on the ground. He fell asleep on the table. She helped him up and walked to the bed. Then, she helped him lay down on the bed and covered the blanket over his body. She brought out the tray to the kitchen and came back with a basin of warm water.

“Sorry, Tian Liam! I have to make you drunk. I need to meet my mother tonight and I can’t let you know that, get a good sleep and tomorrow will be normal.”, she took the towel with water to clean his face and his hands. It was already midnight, she walked to the door, slightly opened it and watched the soldiers outside. They were walking in their shift, as a group of soldiers passing the entrance leading to her room. She got out of the room and jumped up to the top of the high wall. She stepped back some steps and run to jump outside of the palace.

She walked carefully and hurriedly on the road leading to the west of the royal city. She saw a large field and knew that that was the place Lei Hwa asked to meet her there. She walked into the field and saw a familiar figure in the middle of the field.

-Mother! – She called Lei Hwa and run to her place.

-Lei Lei. – Lei Hwa turned back and also run to Hou Lei.

-Mom, I know that you’re still alive! Where were you in the past two years? – She hugged her tightly.

-It’s a long story, but I’m here to give you the book of Hou Ma tribe and the jade unicorn of the Er tribe.

-The jade unicorn of the Er tribe? – Hou Lei surprised. – How can you have that thing?
