PART 105 – HOU LEI’S SICKNESS_3

The next day, in the early morning, Miang Xiang got out of her motel to go to meet Lei Hwa. She walked to the room, and knocked on the door. Lei Hwa was still putting more of her magic into the pot containing the medicine.

-Get in, I know there’s you, Miang Miang! – Lei Hwa replied to the knock.

-You’ve not finished the medicine yet? – Miang Xiang asked.

-I’ve transferred as much as magic as I can into this medicine, however, as the status of Hou Lei I could sense, she needs much magic to break the shield of the energy now capturing her.

-I understand, can I use magic to help?

-Of course, that’s good!

Miang Xiang sat down on a chair next to Lei Hwa and she raised her hands up, a pink light appeared from her hand and spread to the pot. After a while, the pot shined a little bit.

-The medicine is ready! – Lei Hwa smiled and put her hands down.

-Well, hard to make some kind of medicine like this. – Miang Xiang also put her hands down.

Lei Hwa picked up the medicine tablet from the pot carefully and gave it to Miang Xiang.

-Please help Hou Lei! You need to hurry up, the more Hou Lei is captured by the energy, the harder to help her out. – Lei Hwa said.

-I know, believe in me! – Miang Xiang took the medicine and walked out of the room.

When Miang Xiang returned to her room, Tian Liang had already been there. He saw her and ran to her place immediately.

-Miss Miang Xiang, did you get the medicine?

-Yup, it’s here. – She gave the small pack containing the medicine for Tian Liang.

-Do I need any caution for this medicine?

-My Prince, I believe in you, you must put this medicine tablet into Hou Lei’s mouth, by yourself, don’t let anyone do this.

-Including Tian Liam?

-Yes, this medicine contains much of magic, if someone doesn’t know about magic touching it, he will be obsessed with the magic inside and want to have it for himself.

-Why do we need too much magic to help Hou Lei?

-I only can explain some information to you. As the one who made this medicine said, Hou Lei is now captured by a force of energy, and she can’t define which kind of that energy is. She prepared this medicine aiming to supply the magical energy to help Hou Lei fight with the shield of that bad energy. That is the only way to help her now.

-So that why all the doctors in the palace couldn’t find out the sickness of Hou Lei.

-Yup, the magical world is very large, and I only know a small piece of it. My Prince, remember what I say, only you do this.

-I promise! – Tian Liang nodded.

-One more thing, you need to hurry up. As that one said, the longer Hou Lei is captured, the harder for her to escape.

-I understand, thank you, Miss Miang Xiang.

Tian Liang got on his horse and rode back to the palace.

Tian Liam was carrying a tray of food to walk back to Hou Lei’s room. He saw Tian Liang running to her room, too. Tian Liang knocked on the door but there was no answer, he prepared to open the door and walk-in. Tian Liam stood from behind him.

-Second Brother, it’s not quite good when getting into your sister-in-law room without permission! – Tian Liam said.

-Oh, sorry. – Tian Liang started. – I think that you’re still sleeping.

-What makes you come here so early?

-I have the medicine to help Hou Lei.

-Wow, give it to me, I’ll treat for her now.

Thinking about what Miang Xiang said, Tian Liang had thought about this situation on the way he got back here. He took the tray of food from Tian Liam.

-We need a basin of warm water to treat for her. – Tian Liang said.

-Okay, I’ll get it now. – Tian Liam turned back and ran to the maid house.

Tian Liang walked into Hou Lei’s room, he knew that he did not have much time. He immediately put the medicine into Hou Lei’s mouth and helped her to swallow it. A light wind blew on her body and many sparkling specks of dust flew up, just like Miang Xiang said, the shield wrapping around Hou Lei was broken, and her eyes slightly moved.

-Hou Lei, are you awake? – Tian Liang asked.

Her eyes opened, they were blurred a little bit, she raised her hands up and rubbed her eyes.

-Tian Liang? What are you doing here? – She asked.

-I’m here to help you… oh, Tian Liam is taking something for you, he asked me to look after you for a while. – Tian Liang replied.

-Second Brother, here is the water! – Tian Liam came back with the basin of water on his hands.

He immediately put the basin on the table while seeing Hou Lei was waking up. He ran to her bed and sat down next to her.

-Hou Lei, how do you feel now? – He held her hand.

-I’m okay, nothing to worry more! – She replied.

-Tian Liang, you lied to me? – He looked at Tian Liang.

-What? I didn’t do anything! – Tian Liang answered.

-You lied that you needed the basin and while I was taking it, you gave the medicine to Hou Lei. – He said. – You want to keep the secret about that medicine.

-I … I didn’t mean to hide the secret with you, but… - Tian Liang wanted to explain.

-Tian Liam. – Hou Lei sat up. – He only wants to help. I believe he has his own reason to do that.

-Anyway, you woke up, that’s good, nothing is more important. – He calmed down. – Second Brother, I must say thank you to you for helping her.

-That’s what I should do. – Tian Liang replied. – I don’t bother you two. I have some works to finish the government.

-See you later. – Hou Lei said to Tian Liang.

-My cutie wife, you made me worried much! – Tian Liam held her hand and kissed her forehead. – Your forehead isn’t high-tempered anymore. But I wonder what kind of medicine Tian Liang gave you, how that medicine could treat your sickness immediately like that?

-You will know that at a suitable time. I’m hungry, my husband!!!
