PART 30 – THE PLAN OF THE CROWN PRINCE_3

Tian Liam got out of his bed and saw the tray of breakfast was ready for him on the table. He had his meal and came out to meet the manager of the motel. He went to the ground floor and met Miang Xiang, the owner of the motel:

-Oh, My Prince, you woke up! – She greeted him.

-Miss Miang Xiang, is that you the one helped me last night? – He wondered.

-Well, there was a lady leading you here and she left very early. She very cared about you, she asked me to prepare a basin of water and the breakfast for you. Does the food in this small motel suit for you, my Prince?

-Oh, It’s good. So you don’t even know her?

-She didn’t want you to know who she is! And I think I should respect her request, she was such a lovely lady. You should keep her besides with all the things you have, or the other man will take her away. Your men will never know what if it’s enough, you always want more ladies, and soon to be lost the only one love you most.

-I assure you I won’t be in that situation. Surely that’s you, Hou Lei. But I wonder why you could leave the palace without the approval of the Queen? She won’t let you join in such a difficult and dangerous investigation like this!

He then came back to his room, he should wait until it was a night to find the strange men again. He saw a paper on his table, it might be left by Hou Lei. He picked it up and read the content:

“My Prince, you have no idea what you are fighting with, I now give you some information about them. Hope you can find a way to capture them. It’s not all times I can save you at the right time like last night. Please read this carefully and define a plan:

1.You are fighting with Er people. They are gifted people, with the powerful physical strength, meaning they are very strong compared with a normal human like you. So that means, you can physically fight with them, you will be hit like that night. And you know, their hits are very seriously injured. Your body was very weak last night, I had some medicine to treat your wounds.

2.I left here with you some herbs. These herbs can help you to make the Er people got into a faint, but remember, when you burn them, you can’t breathe their gas in.

3.They have powerful physical strength, so you can’t capture them with normal ropes, and I think you can’t put them into prison, too. So the best way is making them know they are doing wrong and let them leave. I know your mission is investigating the mysterious stolen things, but how can you capture and let people know about them in this situation?

-It must be you, Hou Lei! You’re more mysterious to me now. But you always keep a distance with me, I don’t have chances to know more about you, thanks to this case, I know you yes care about me. – He held the paper to his heart.

As the information and herbs Hou Lei gave, he made up a plan to fight against the Er people. He thought for a while but could not define how he could use the herbs she gave. Actually, this was hard work for him, he did not know anything about the medicine and herbs. He walked around his room and still not found any ideas. There was a knock of the door.

-My Prince, it’s Miang Xiang, can I get in?
-Sure. Just get in! – He answered.

-I bring your lunch here! – She put the tray of food on the table. – You look serious. What're things going? Do you have problems?

-Yup, you know, I’m in an investigation with… - Then he paused.

-If it’s not good to share, I won’t ask more to make hard for you.

-Well, Miss Miang Xiang, you are very smart as people said. Do you know how to burn something without touching them, I mean, from a far place?

-Let me think. – She paused for some seconds. – Oh, people use the lamp wick to make the light on the oil, right? But I think it will take a long time from a far way to your destination.

-Oh, it’s better than I have thought about that for more than an hour without any solution!

-Why don’t you use the dynamite? It is a kind of powder, you can spread it on the way and burn from your place to your destination fast.

-But the dynamite has a bad smell, my enemies can recognize it.

-Oh, that’s right, I don’t know who you are fighting with, but they seem to be strong and smart people. Okay, this is really hard to find a way.

-Yup, it’s been taking me for more than an hour.

-I know that, my Prince. – She was excited. – The wick in the firecracker! It can hold the fire and lead it to another place faster!

-Wow, thank you so much, Miss Miang Xiang! – He stood up and planned to find those wick.

-Wait, my Prince, I know somewhere selling a lot of firecrackers.

She led him to a wedding decoration store.

-Mr. Liu, do you have a lot of firecrackers? – She asked the seller.

They chose many of the firecrackers and left. On the way back, Miang Xiang said to Tian Liam:

He is a traditional man, he wants to connect the couples together, he has been selling wedding decoration things for almost forty years. If you use his decoration without wedding purpose, he won’t sell them to you. Sorry for corrupting you, I only want to help you.

-I know that, thank you so much, Miss Miang Xiang! – Tian Liam said.

They came back to the motel, Tian Liam prepared for his plan in his room. He cut all the crackers out of the wick ropes of the firecrackers. Then he connected the wick ropes together to be a long rope. He wrapped the herbs in a black paper. Everything was okay, excepting how to make the Er people know they were doing wrong and pushed them away from the royal city. About this, he had to think himself, he could not let Miang Xiang know about the appearance of those guy in the royal city and what they had done. She might be scared and the secret might be revealed to everyone, the Emperor had to be angry when it happened. He had to find a way to make them leave the royal city without any concern or capture them and bring them to the prison. However, could the prison keep them from escaping and destroying the other things in the palace?
