PART 21 – COULD SHE BELIEVE IN HIM?

-Ah Jiang, you could go! – Tian Liam said to the maid.

And he opened the door without Hou Lei’s agreement. She got out of her bed and prevented him to get in her room deeper.

-Wait! Wang Tian Liam, what do you want? This is my room, get out! – She yelled.

-Oh, this is your room, yes! But your room is in my palace, North Liam palace, right?

-So what? It’s still mine.

-And you’re mine! – He looked closer to her face and smiled.

-Never! Get out! Or I will…

-You will do what? Call the Soldier General? Call the Queen? Or call the Emperor? Remember, Mr. Hu is my bureaucrat, the Queen is my Mother and the Emperor is my Father! There won’t be anyone helping you and fighting me! – He smiled devilishly. – And who will disturb the soon-to-be husband and wife?

-Who is your wife? You’re in sleepwalking? Please wake up!

-It’s the decision of the Emperor. You can’t make it in a different way.

-I believe I can make him change his mind!

-No one can, Hou Lei. I wonder why you hate me much like that. Am I a bad guy in your eyes?

He stood up and touched her face gently before leaving. Hou Lei still sat there, thinking much about the dream and their recent conversation.

“Tian Liam, you seem to be the most trustworthy in this Palace, but I don’t know if all the things you said are true. “You” in the dream was different from your real one. And will there be someday you kill my mother just as you did in the dream? My father said that you’re the very first sign for me in the mission to bring back my tribe. It’s too messy, I don’t even know where I should begin. Everything is just too much for thinking and getting a decision.”

In the room of the Emperor in the main Palace, the Emperor and the Crown Prince were getting a conflict about the wedding:

-Father, please think again about that!

-Tian Leong, I used to think that you are the most understanding son of my three sons. But this time, you make me so disappointed.

-I know that you’ve thought about the good and bad sides of weddings. However, I really want to marry Hou Lei. I promise that I will run the government well.

-It isn’t only about your happiness or Hou Lei, it’s about our country’s peace and development. Japan is a strong country and they have many things that we can learn. Marrying the Japanese Princess is not just good for you but also our country.

-Father, it’s only good for you. You want to know about their technologies and keep a good connection with them.

-I can’t think too far like that. I only know that at this time, I like and want to marry Hou Lei.

That night was also a full moon night. After having her dinner, Hou Lei carefully closed all the door. She sat on her bed and raised her hand up, the green gem started to shine a sparkly light. The gem flew out of the bracelet. She chanted some spell to get the power of the moon to reach the gem, she tried her best not to make the gem shining too bright, it would attract the attention of others.

Everything seemed to be good, suddenly, there was a shadow on the paper door. Hou Lei immediately stopped and got the gem back. She ran to open the door and saw a shadow of a person quickly ran out of the big door leading to her room. She followed that guy, they secretly passed the sentries on the road, got through the big garden. The guy flew over the final wall, and Hou Lei naturally jumped when she got near to the wall, she also flew out of the Palace. They rushed each other to a large grass field.

-Who are you? Why you leered at me?

-You don’t need to know much about that, my Hou Ma Princess. – That guy said with a very strange voice, making her not realize that it was a lady or a man.

-How do you know about my identity? – She surprised.

-Do you think your gem can hide all the things? You’re wrong, every magic has its price and its range of power, you can’t lie all people. I don’t have time, we will meet someday!

The guy got a rapidly move and disappeared. Hou Lei wondered who that guy was, knowing about her real identity and having some kinds of powers like that. She returned the Palace and flied back into the side of the wall. She had never flied before, she felt very excited about her new power. Back to her room, she saw Tian Liam was standing there, in front of the opened door.
