After returning to the palace, the Emperor asked some doctors to look after Tian Liam’s health carefully. Hou Lei stayed in his room for taking care of him easier.

-Tian Liang, these days, you will take responsibility for the works of the government. – The Emperor said to Tian Liang. – I think we should let Tian Liam take a rest.

-I know, father, his health is not good now, he should not care about the works. I will help him with those works. – Tian Liang replied.

The Queen continued to walk to Tian Liam’s room. The sentry prepared to announce she was coming but she gave a signal for the guy to stop. She walked closer to the door and knocked on it gently. Hou Lei opened the door.

-Mother, please get in. – She greeted the Queen.

-How is Tian Liam? – The Queen looked at him laying on the bed.

-The doctor has just checked for him. He is okay now, but he got some injures on his body during the time in the Er tribe, the doctor gave a list of medicine. I’ve just asked Ah Jiang to prepare the medicine for him. – Hou Lei answered.

-He’s lucky when having you besides.

-It’s my responsibility, mother.

-I have some ginseng and bird-nests for you two. My maid has given them to Ah Jiang. They can help him get back his health easier.

The Queen walked closer to his bed and looked at him.

-This boy has never stopped making me worried about him.

-We have no idea about the plan of the Er tribe. – Hou Lei said.

-I understand, but he could ask the maid or the sentry to go out and buy the fabric for him.

-I think that he wanted to choose them by himself. – Hou Lei walked next to the Queen. – He always cares much about the one he loves.

-I know that, it makes him outstanding from others.

-He is a good man, he deserves the love from us and others.

-However, Hou Lei, do you think that the Er tribe will revenge us?

-Why did they kidnap Tian Liam? I still do not know the reason.

-Oh, can I sleep a little more? – He said with a sleepy voice.

-You have all night to sleep. – She helped him to get up. – But you should take the medicine now and have dinner before going to sleep.

-Okay, your words are my command. – He smiled.

She looked at his eyes and paused for a second. She felt something strange in the way he was looking at her. However, she shook her head a bit and thought that was her tiredness now, she took the bowl of medicine and gave him. He drank all the liquid medicine and gave her the bowl back.

-Now, lay here and wait for me a moment, I will come to the kitchen to get your dinner. – She said.

-Yes, madam. – He said and laid down lightly.
