PART 112 – THE MISSING OF TIAN LIAM_2

Hou Lei waited for Tian Liam the whole night, she did not get sleep. She was afraid of something bad happening to him, and she wanted to see if he came back in the night just because he just finished his works in the government. But the morning came, and nothing happened. In the early morning, she chanted a spell and tried to find the signal of him in the royal city. And again, there was no signal found. She started to get more worried. She changed her clothes and walked to the Queen’s room. She stopped at the door and confused that should she inform that her or not? And she thought that she should do everything than nothing, she knocked on the door.

-Who’s that? It’s too early. – The Queen replied the knock.

-Mother, it’s me, Hou Lei. I have something to talk with you about. – She answered.

-Just get in, my daughter.

-Mother, do you have any information about Tian Liam now? – She sat to the table next to the Queen.

-Tian Liam? – The Queen surprised. – Is that he should be with you these days?

-Yup, he said that he would go to the royal city to buy something yesterday morning, but he hasn’t returned yet.

-Maybe he had some works to do for your father?

-I’d asked Second Brother, he had no work yesterday. He told Tian Liang to help to solve the works if Father needed it, he had gone to the royal city.

-Well, that’s strange, Tian Liam always, at least, let me or you know where he will go or what he is doing. You make me worried too.

-Can we ask Father to send some soldiers to the royal city to find him? I’m afraid that something bad happening to him.

-I know, I’ll tell your father immediately. You should wait in your room.

The Queen stood up and walked to meet the Emperor. He also felt that was a strange thing, he asked the bureaucrats about Tian Liam if they had seen him, but no one knew where Tian Liam was now. The Emperor asked a sentry to call Tian Liang to meet him in his reading room. Besides, he asked the Soldier General to send some soldiers finding him in the royal city. After a while, Tian Liang came to meet the Emperor.

-Father, you want to see me? – Tian Liang greeted him.

-Did you hear about the missing of Tian Liam? – The Emperor asked.

-I talked with my sister-in-law yesterday. He is still not found now?

-Yup, I sent some soldiers to the royal city to find him, hope that we will receive good news soon.

-What do you want me to do now?

-Well, it’s a little bit messing here, so please help me to take care of the works in the government.

-I understand, Father, don’t worry about that.

-Another thing, I have something for you to do now…

Tian Liang sat down on the chair oppositely to the Emperor. They talked about something while Tian Liang nodded continuously and the Emperor pointed at some points on the maps.

The evening came and the soldiers of the Emperor returned from the royal city. They met the Emperor and the Soldier General with Hou Lei, Tian Liang and the Queen in a private room.

-My Emperor, my Queen, we have run across many roads in the royal city, but we couldn’t found the Third Prince. – The leader of the soldiers said.

-So where is he now? – The Queen worried. – It’s not a good signal.

-I know that, enlarge your finding area, to the provinces next to the royal city. – The Emperor said.

-My Emperor. – A soldier ran fast from the outside of the room.

-What happened? We’re in a discussion. – The General said.

-My Emperor, my Queen, we have not found the Third Prince, but we found his horse on a road in the royal city. – That soldier replied.

-His horse? – The Emperor surprised. – So where is he?

-I have asked some other soldiers to find around that place. – The soldier continued.

-Okay. Just inform us of the newest information you have. – The General said.

-Wait. – Hou Lei said before the soldier walked out of the room. – Do you know what place the horse was tied to?

-My Princess, it was tied to a pole near a fabric store. – The soldier replied.

-Ziam Jun’s store? – She wondered.

-That is right, my Princess, but the store was closed. – The soldier said.

-Do you know that place, Hou Lei?  - The Emperor asked.

-Tian Liam had led me to that store once, maybe he got to that store to buy some fabric rolls yesterday. – She continued.

-That store must be the point to start our investigation. – The General said.

-But the store was closed, we do not know its owner even. – Tian Liang said.

-I felt something strange with the owner of the store for the first time I met him, I have done some researches about the fabric of the store because of its strange characteristics and textures. I planned to tell Tian Liam about that, but it was too late. – Hou Lei regretted.

-What are the results of your researches? – The Emperor asked.

-That kind of fabric is related to the Er tribe. – She replied.

-Er tribe? – All of them were surprised.

-As I know, they have ugly forms and only live in the mountain in the South, how can they be here, in the royal city? – Tian Liang asked.

-Yup, but some of them just look like us, and with the full strength of an Er person. – Hou Lei said. - My teacher used to meet some of them in the royal city of the West Land. They are very good at hiding their identities and living just like normal people.

-Are you sure about the information you have? – The Emperor asked.

-I’m sure, father, how dare I lie to you? – She replied.

-Okay, so maybe that the Er people have led Tian Liam to their place now. – The General said.

-But for what? – The Queen asked. – Why do they want to capture Tian Liam?

-Because they heard that we want to destroy them just like the Hou Ma tribe. – Tian Liang said. – I think that there are some persons wanting to take advantage of this chance to spread that rumor. And the Er tribe doesn’t want to have the result like Hou Ma tribe. So, they take a step first.

-Do you want to destroy the Er tribe? – The Queen surprised and asked the Emperor.

-Nope, that’s just a rumor of some bad guys. The extinction of the Hou Ma tribe was more than enough for me. I’ve been regretted for a long time about that mistake. – The Emperor said. – However, we can talk about that later, the important thing now is the safety of Tian Liam. If they really kidnapped him, we should carry out a good plan to rescue him.
