PART 60 – THE PLAN OF THE CROWN PRINCE_2

-My Princess! My Princess! – Ah Jiang walked into Hou Lei’s room.

-What’s up? – She asked. – You look worried.

-I see… I see…

-Calm down. – She poured tea into a cup for her. – Take it, and slowly tell me.

-My Princess, I see the favorite sentry of the Crown Prince at the kitchen.

-So what? Did he bring food to the Crown Prince?

-Oh, not that, the Crown Prince was saying something with the chefs at the front door, the sentry left the kitchen by the sub door, he was strange like he was hiding something bad. He looked around before leaving, his face was serious.

-So you think he could do something bad to us?

-Yes, my Princess, the Crown Prince doesn’t like the Third Prince from your wedding, he always wants to have you by his side.

-Okay, I know, you should keep this secret, you know the Crown Prince could do what!

-I know, I’ll go first, my Princess!

-What does the Crown Prince want to do? Does he want to poison Tian Liam? – She said to herself. – Why? Because of me? How can he poison his own brother because of a lady like me? Main Land people’s heart is too cold, too dangerous and too wicked. Well, whatever he wants to do, I should warn Tian Liam about this, at least with me beside him, he can avoid the poisoned food.

She closed the door and walked to Tian Liam’s room. He was not there, she knocked on the door several times but no answer. She felt not good, he might meet some bad things. She walked around some rounds and sat down in front of his door and waited for him. 

A moment later, he came back from the store of Er Wang. She fell asleep, laid her head on the big post in front of his room. He lightly walked closer to her place and sat down next to her, he gave his hand out and gently pulled her head to his shoulder. She was still sleeping with him hugging her. A moment passed, she opened her eyes and saw he was smiling with her.

-When did you come back? – She woke up and pushed him away.

-Long enough to watch my cutie wife sleeping!

-Tian Liam, this is serious. Ah Jiang saw a sentry of Tian Leong walked out from the sub door of the kitchen with strange actions.

-So what? Did he do some bad things?

-I don’t know, but he may poison you or something like that!

-Poison me? – He laughed. – How does he dare to do that?

-I’m serious, Tian Liam, he may do something bad to you!

-I know, Hou Lei, I’m familiar with those things, the fights in this palace will never stop. At each period, there will be a reason for the fights to happen. And maybe this time, the reason is you, my beautiful wife. Why you can be beautiful and nice like that so my brother wants to poison me for having you?

-Tian Liam, it’s not a joke. I think it’s worthless to tell you that.

She stood up and prepared to go. He held her hand and pulled her back, she fell down on his body, he hugged her tightly and whispered.

-I know this day will come, Hou Lei, you are caring about my safety, I can die in happiness. Today is the happiest day I have had, you do care about me. – He shouted out loud.

-Tian Liam, should you let the whole world know that??? – She covered his mouth with her hand.

-Of course, I should! – He laughed.

-I’m sorry, My Prince, My Princess! – A maid walked to their place with a tray.

-Oh. – He got up and fixed his clothes, also her clothes.

-I’m bringing your lunch to you, my Prince! – The maid said. – I’m sorry, I don’t know my Princess is here, I’ll take another tray for you.

-Don’t need! – Hou Lei replied. – Let’s take it. You can go!

The maid said goodbye to them and left.

-Hou Lei, why you… - Tian Liam asked.

-Well, get into your room and taste our delicious meal. – She pulled him with her.

She looked around before closing the door.

-You said my brother put poison in here, why you still take the food?

-Careful with your mouth! – She answered. – A sentry of him has been here for a while, we had to received this tray.

-I know he was there. – He replied. – But we still could deny to receiving it.

-I know he aimed to kill you. But I want to see what he will do if I’m here with you and the poison.

-You want to check if he loves you or not?

-No, I don’t care about his love, I just want to know how cold heart he is! He can even hurt his brother, how can I care about someone like him?

-Hou Lei! – He held her hands. – Please don’t leave me alone, having you by my side is the best thing in my life! You made me have the desire of wanting to protect you and love you. I don’t care about the fights in the palace, but I do care much about you.

-Tian Liam, I know that, but I need time, as I said many times.

-I can wait, you have the first step to let me have more motivation to wait.

There was a knock on the door. Tian Liam opened the door, it was Tian Leong. He was there with a maid bringing a tray with some dishes.

-Hello brother, I bring some food for you! – Tiang Leong said.

-Big brother, what beautiful wind brings you here? – He asked.

-Oh, sister-in-law, you’re also here! – Tian Leong greeted her.

-Big brother, get in! – He led Tian Leong into his room.

-Do I corrupt your sweet moment? – Tian Leong asked.

-Oh no, we just chatted about something. – Hou Lei replied.

-I got some special food for you two. – Tian Leong put the tray on the table and gave the maid the previous tray. – Bring this back to the kitchen as I said.

-Thank you, big brother! Have a sit! – He said and sat down next to Hou Lei.

-Big Brother, have some tea. – She gave Tian Leong a cup of tea.

-Have you had your lunch? – Tian Leong asked as he knew nothing.

-Not yet, we prepared to eat the tray the maid just brought out. – She replied.

-I have here some special food I asked the chefs made, of course, they can’t compare with your dishes, but hope you two like them. – Tian Leong took the dishes out of the tray. – Now, let’s eat when they are still warm.
