PART 57 – ER WANG FORGOT ABOUT HOU LEI?

Hou Lei got out of the horse wagon and was very confused when seeing Er Wang/Ziam Jun standing in front of the wagon.

-Mr. Hu, you can go back first, we will come later, he is my friend. It’s okay to leave some soldiers with us. – Tian Liam said to the Soldier General.

Mr. Hu left with most of the soldiers.

-Xiao Liam, this is… - Er Wang pointed at Hou Lei.

-Well, you can order to make clothes at my store, too. I have many good tailors.

-No one can, Tian Liam. Sorry but I think we should stop here. I don’t want to let you get hope and then feel disappointed.

She laid her head on the wall of the wagon and closed her eyes. He was now more confused about her, what were the most important things in her life? Who was the man she met and made her lost all the hopes? He wanted to know, but he had no clue to find out what were those things.

Later she fell asleep on the way. He looked at her and gently touched her cheek, she had to suffer something very bad in the past, he should use his love to heal her pain and he believed with his heartfelt love, someday, she would love him. They stopped in front of the big entrance leading to North Liam palace. He got down and carried her by his hands and walked into the palace.

-My Prince, you and the Princess are back! – Ah Jiang greeted him.

-Shhhh! – He whispered to Ah Jiang. – She is sleeping, help me to open the door.

He walked into her room and let her lay on her bed. Liu Han was hiding behind a big tree in the garden near there, she was very angry when seeing Tian Liam treating Hou Lei like that. He had never done it to her, the way he looked at Hou Lei on his hands, the way he showed that he did care much about Hou Lei, the way he gently carried Hou Lei… Everything she witnessed just made her angrier. She wanted the place of Hou Lei, that should be her, Hou Lei even did not love Tian Liam.

“Why the God of Sky treated me so badly? I grew up with him, people said we were soulmates. I knew everything about him, what he liked, where he went to if he was upset, which clothes were his favorite… How Hou Lei just appeared and took him over my hands like that? It was not fair.” She thought with sharp eyes, she needed to do something soon before Tian Liam could not get enough of Hou Lei, before he loved Hou Lei with all his heart and especially, before Hou Lei could feel his love and requited it. “If it happened, I would totaly fail in this fight. I needed someone to ally with, doing anything alone now was not good for me, but the Crown Prince could not be trustworthy anymore, he was even more selfish than me, I could be blamed for all the things if the plan was destroyed. But who? Who could be my new alliance when everyone in this palace loved Hou Lei and Tian Liam much, even the Emperor and the Queen liked Hou Lei and praised her many time in front of the bureaucrats.” She stood there for a while and watching them getting into Hou Lei’s room, then leaving with a look around to assure no one saw her there.

-Help me to prepare some warm water, a towel and some fruits. – He said to Ah Jiang.

She walked out and after a while, she came back with the things he wanted. She put them on the table and went out. He took the towel and soaked into the water. He made it dry a little bit and cleaned her face and her hands. He then covered the blanket over her body well. After that, he took of his coat and rolled up his sleeves. He sat down next to the table and whittled the fruits.

In that time, at the store of Er Wang…

-My Er Wang, why you acted as you didn’t know Princess Hou Lei?

-I could see that she was pretending to be a normal lady in this country. She must have a plan of revenge when she gets here.

-So what should we do? Should we disclose her identity?

-Not this time, I want to play with her and her husband.
