MY EVIL PRINCESS: Chapter 19: Tian Liam and Tian Liang

PART 133 – TIAN LIANG’S THOUGHTS

-My Princess, my Second Prince! – Mr. Hu came back and greeted them.

-Tian Liam… - Hou Lei saw some soldiers was holding him and ran to his place.

-What happened to him? – Tian Liang asked Mr. Hu.

-We found him in the prison of the palace and seemed… - The General suddenly stopped.

-Seem what? – Tian Liang asked.

-The Third Prince has released Er Wang. – Mr. Hu said. – Er Wang broke the walls of the palace and escaped. We do not know why…

-Well, he was hypnotized by an assassin. – Hou Lei answered. – We can care about Ziam Jun later, firstly, we need to take care of Tian Liam.

The soldiers helped to bring him to the bed and put him onto. Hou Lei checked his pulse, nothing to worry, there was no wound on his body. She got the blanket to cover his body and turned to talk with the General and Tian Liang.

-To prepare, I do not know if the hypnotic of Tian Liam is over or not, please get me a rope and some herbs, I will list them to you.

She wrote down some herbs in a paper and gave it to Tian Liang. He came to the medicine warehouse to get the herb. The General also walked to his weapon warehouse to get some ropes for her. Hou Lei sat onto a chair next to the table, she wondered what had happened when he met the lady in violet dress and her lover. What was the secret they wanted to hide? What was the purpose of the assassin when he came to meet Tian Liam?

-Do you need me to stay here with you and the Prince tonight, my Princess? – The General returned and gave her the ropes.

-I think he will be okay, please let some soldiers outside the room, I will call them when I need them. – Hou Lei answered.

-So I leave first, you should take a nap, you look very tired and your wounds are still making you feel pain. – The General said, then walked out and closed the door.

A moment later, Tian Liang opened the door to give Hou Lei the herbs.

-Do you need anything else? – Tian Liang asked.

-I am okay, and I think that he is too. – Hou Lei replied.

-Well, take care of yourself. – He left the room.

Hou Lei returned to the chair, holding the herbs in her hands, ready to fight with the hypnotic magic when Tian Liam woke up. However, nothing happened that night, she fell asleep and laid her head on the pole of the bed, still holding the herbs tightly.

The morning came, Tian Liam felt very strange when he opened his eyes. He felt that his body seemed to be apart, his mind was null, and he did not remember anything had happened in the previous night excluding the fight of the lady in violet and the assassin. He turned his head and saw Hou Lei was sitting and laying her head on the pole of the bed.

She moved her head and her eyelids. He immediately closed his eyes and fixed his position, took the blanket to cover him just like when he had woken up. Hou Lei turned her head a little bit and continued to sleep. He did not want to break the silence and wake her up, so he acted like a good boy, looking at her when she was sleeping. He could see that she was very beautiful when her face looked extremely innocent and carefree. She turned her head again, he closed his eyes rapidly, trying not to be caught by her eyes. After a while, he opened his eyes lightly and saw directly into her sparkling eyes making him sit up surprisingly.

-Did you wake up? – She surprised.

-I am sorry, I did not mean to ignore you. I just did not want to wake you up. – He explained.

-Do you feel okay?

-I feel like my body parts are falling apart, and my head was in pain.

-Well, those are the side effects of the hypnotic.

-Hypnotic? I was hypnotized? By who?

-The man in black clothes, I guess, I did not meet him, but I think that the lady in the violet dress was trying to help you.

-You are right. – He looked at the wounds on her hands. – What happened to you?

-Oh, nothing. – She hid her hand behind her back.

-Did I hurt you when I was hypnotized? – He got closer to her and took her hands.

-I am okay, nothing to worry.

-So sorry, I did not know what happened. Does it hurt? – He rubbed her hands gently.

-No, no… You do not need to worry about that. It was not you the one hurt me.

-Ropes? – He looked at the ropes on the table and the herbs in her hands. – And many kinds of herbs?

-Actually, everything was in control, I just did not want Mr. Hu to know something he should not know about me. – She replied and stood up to walk to the table.

Suddenly, she lost her balance and fell down on his body. He caught her and hugged her.

-Sorry, I did not know what happened but you were hurt by me.

-Well, do not blame yourself for something you did not do. I think that you must be hungry, I will get some food for you.

-You still care much about me even though you are in pain. – He held her hands. – Let me take care of you, okay? Just stay here, I will go to get the food and a basin of water for you.

-Shhhh! – He put his finger onto her lips. – Be a good wife, and wait here for your husband to come back. You also need to be looked after.

He stood up and walked out of the room. Before closing the door, he smiled with her. He walked to the kitchen to get breakfast for himself and her. He also prepared a basin of warm water himself for his beloved wife. Tian Liang walked passing the kitchen’s door and saw him preparing things on a tray. Tian Liang stopped for a while and thought about Hou Lei.

-My Second Prince, can I help you anything? – A chef asked him.

-Oh, I just need to go to meet a bureaucrat for discussing the government’s work. – He replied.

-Looking at the Third Prince, he has become more patient, more caress, and more responsible. He is ready to be the man of a family. – The chef said. – Sorry for asking this, but why don’t you find a good lady for yourself, my Prince?

-Well, you know, it is hard to find a good lady these days. And love is something that must be based on natural feelings and voluntary between two people.

-What a kind of thought, my Prince! You seem to be affected by the culture and knowledge of the other countries much.

-Maybe… - He said and thought about Hou Lei again.
