PART 124 – THE FAKE TIAN LIAM

When Tian Liam’s hands reached to the broken pieces of the bowl, Hou Lei used a spell to make the sharp piece move and cut on his finger, blood bled out of his finger much and some drops got onto the piece of the bowl. As she had prepared, Hou Lei chanted a spell to make him stop moving and he was frozen, did not know what happened to surround him.

She acted fast, got the vial out of her pocket and took the broken piece containing his blood, she put the drops of blood into the vial and put it back to the place with Tian Liam’s hands. She got onto her sit back and chanted another spell to make the previous spell’s effect disappear. Tian Liam looked at his bleeding finger with surprise. She got down with him and looked at his finger.

-Wait for me a second. I will take the first aid box.

She ran out of the room to find the box in her room, actually, she wanted to meet Tian Liang, who was waiting for her in her room from the early evening when hearing about her plan. She gave him the vial and took the first aid box with her.

-Please carefully give it to Miang Xiang, it’s hard to get the blood again! – She said.

-I know that. – He answered.

-I need to go back with him right now. – She ran out of her room.

After she came back to Tian Liam’s room, his bleeding finger was healed already. She looked at his hand and thought that there was nothing to doubt more, he was exactly Er Wang. His bleeding wound was healed very fast proving that.

-Oh, sorry for making you worried. – He said. – Just a small scratch.

-But… whatever… - She fetched a sigh. – You don’t need this first aid box anymore.

-Thank you for loving me like that, my cutie wife! – He smiled.

-Okay, let’s continue our meal.

After a while, Tian Liang rode a horse to the motel of Miang Xiang and gave her the vial. Miang Xiang and Lei Hwa immediately added the blood into the pot containing herbs they had prepared. Miang Xiang set a table with some of the food for Tian Liang, he sat there and waited for taking the medicine back to Hou Lei. He sat then walked around the small restaurant in the motel. He was worried much, both for Hou Lei and for his brother.

-Hoping that Hou Lei was right and her plan can be carried out smoothly to help Tian Liam. – He said to himself. – The plan will definitely be successful.

After an hour or so, Miang Xiang and Lei Hwa tried their best to put the magic into the medicine. They were exhausted from making it. Miang Xiang walked slowly out of the room and brought the medicine to Tian Liang. He saw her walk weakly down on the stairs. He ran to help her.

-Miss Miang Xiang, are you okay? – He caught her hands.

-I’m okay, just used too much magic into this medicine, remember, take it to Hou Lei, and do not let the fake Tian Liam see what you are doing. – Miang Xiang reminded him.

-Okay, I know that.

-And also, tell Hou Lei that the drug is ready, however, I and Lei Hwa need some time to take rest and have our strength back before we go to the Er tribe to rescue the Prince.

-I will inform her of that. At first, we need to handle with the fake one.

-You should be in a hurry, Tian Liam may get more dangerous when we take time here.

-Thank you, Miss Miang Xiang.

-Oh, tell Mr. Hu that he should come to meet me tomorrow morning.

-Okay, I will tell him. – Tian Liang got onto the horse.

After having the meal with Tian Liam, Hou Lei brought the tray of dishes back to the kitchen and walked back to her room. On the way, she met Mr. Hu.

-My Princess. – He greeted her. – I and the Second Prince have finished choosing the soldiers. They are the best of us now.

-Thank you, Mr. Hu! – She replied. – However, I still worry about the Er tribe. We don’t know what they are doing now, or are they preparing to fight against us, too?

-Do not worry much, My Princess. The Er people are not that too smart. Especially, their leader is here now, they don’t prepare anything. And more, Er Wang doesn’t notice the things happening around him. We can be sure about that. These days, the Emperor gave him many works to do in the government, those works took almost the time of him.

-Well, at least, we should prepare for the worst case.

-I know that you can believe in ourselves. We will win this battle!

-I hope so.

-I saw the Second Prince left the palace this evening, maybe that he will return soon.

-If he returns in this night, I will do our plan right in tomorrow afternoon. And I will inform you to prepare a small party for the royal family and some bureaucrats. We also need the presence of Miang Xiang there to help us solve the problem.

-I understand. I’ll ask her to join us.

Hou Lei returned to her room when she was tidying her bed and preparing to go to sleep. There were knocks on her door. She opened the door, it was Tian Liang with gasping and sweats profusely on his forehead. He ran as fastest as possible to bring the medicine to her.

-Are you okay? – She asked.

-I’m okay, just a little sweat. – He replied. – This is medicine.

-Thank you so much. You should take a rest and wait for the drama tomorrow.

-I hope we will succeed.

-We definitely will. – She assured him.

The next day, Mr. Hu came to meet Miang Xiang as the Second Prince informed him. They talked for the plan to rescue the Third Prince. And after their discussion, Miang Xiang followed Mr. Hu getting back to the palace. There was a small party setting up for Hou Lei as she told the Emperor that she wanted to hold a party for Tian Liam for his safe coming back from the Er tribe. There were some bureaucrats invited to the party by Tian Liang and Mr. Hu.

Hou Lei helped the chefs to prepare food in the morning. She got the wine from Miang Xiang to treat the guests. And one vase of wine, she put it on another tray, separated from the others. She also told the chefs not to touch that vase. She would take care of it from the beginning till the party opening. When the chefs were busy with their works, Hou Lei opened the vase of wine and put the medicine into it. She also chanted a spell to make the medicine not diluting in all the wine, just on the surface of the wine and when she poured out it would be dispersed into the wine. The party was set up well. And the bureaucrats started to get into their places in the party room. Hou Lei and the chefs with the maids brought the food from the kitchen and put them on the table of the guests. She especially put that vase of wine on the table of Tian Liam. Miang Xiang and Mr. Hu walked into the room, they winked with her as the signal that everything was okay. She poured the wine from the vase into the cup of Tian Liam and she could see that the magical flow spreading out of the vase.

-Hi everyone. – Hou Lei said. – I take place this party to celebrate my husband, the Third Prince was safe from being kidnapped by the Er tribe. Let’s pick up your cup of wine and celebrate.

Tian Liam drank all wine in the cup and he immediately felt something not right.
