PART 84 – THE CROWN PRINCE’S OBSESSION_2

-Okay, let’s go to bed! – Hou Lei gently pushed Tian Liam out of her.

She got the light lower and laid in the inside of the bed. She did not face the wall as she used to do, this time, she faced him. He smiled by recognizing her change. He fixed the blanket for her and laid down next to her. She rested her head on his shoulder and wrapped her hand around his chest. He raised his head a bit and looked down to see her hand, he smiled happily and closed his eyes.

The next morning, Hou Lei planned to get a teapot and some warm water for Tian Liam. She got up and stood up on the bed, she walked over his sleeping body to get out of the bed. She slipped and fell down on his body.

-Ouch… - He woke up.

-Are you okay, Tian Liam?

-Did I do anything wrong? Don’t need to do that for waking me up.

-Sorry. – She got up, fixed her clothes and stood beside the bed. – I just want to make a teapot and get some water for you to wash your face.

-I know that, sorry, too. I said I was here for protecting you but I slept deeper than you. – He laughed. – Maybe sleeping by your side is the most peaceful thing in my world.

-I don’t need honey in the morning. – She laughed. – Now get up and help me prepare your breakfast.

They walked in the kitchen, all the chefs stopped their works and greeted them.

-Don’t need too formal for us like that! – Hou Lei said to them. – Can I borrow a table to cook?

-Here is yours, my Princess. – A chef said. – We always spend a table for you in every day.

-Wow, thank you! – She said with a happy voice.

-Look like they like my wife much more than me! –Tian Liam whispered into her ear.

-So you’re happy or not when listening to that? – She led him to the table.

-Of course, yes, my wife is too lovely, no one can resist your kindness.

-Stop, I don’t need honey to cook! – She laughed and prepared the vegetables.

-Now, which one I can help?

They cooked together happily. After Hou Lei finished her dishes, she put them on a tray. Suddenly, from the outside of the kitchen, Tian Leong ran into their place and took the tray.

-Hou Lei, you cooked for me, thank you so much! – He said and ate the food right after that.

-Tian Leong, are you okay? – Tian Liam asked.

-Don’t disturb me and Hou Lei. – Tian Leong yelled at him.

-Okay, okay, Tian Leong, you can bring this tray back to your room and slowly taste the food. – Hou Lei gently said. – I need to clean up here.

-Thank you so much, Hou Lei, you treat me so well! – Tian Leong brought the food with him and walked out of the kitchen.

-Hou Lei, he… - Tian Liam was wordless.

-I have no idea, but his behavior is something wrong. – She replied.

-How about our breakfast? – He said with a disappointed voice.

-Okay, I can cook another for you, if you need to meet the Emperor, you can meet him first and when you’re back, I’ll finish the food.

-Okay, I’ll go first.

He said and left the kitchen. The chefs did not stop surprising from what they had just witnessed. Hou Lei felt some traces of magic on Tian Leong’s body when he touched her from taking the tray out of her hands. However, she could not define what kind of magic was that. She shook her head and turned back to cook.

Tian Liam walked to meet the Emperor with an empty stomach. He felt not good when discussing the works in the government. The Emperor could see that, he said:

-You look not good, Tian Liam? Do you feel tired or something?

-Oh, no, Father, I just got a hurry this morning and not had my breakfast yet. – He answered.

-Where were the maids and your wife? Why they let you hungry like this?

-It’s not because of them, Father, this morning, Hou Lei cooked for me, but Big brother came and took the food with him. I felt him acting very strangely.

-Well, you were too busy this time, so you didn’t know about him.

-What happened to him? Something bad?

-I don’t know, but he seems to be obsessed with Hou Lei. He recognized every lady as Hou Lei. He locked himself in his room just for watching the painting of Hou Lei. He didn’t care about the government’s works.

-Sorry, I didn’t know that. I had many works to do in the royal city.

-I’ve asked many doctors to come and checked his status, but no one could find a signal of sickness or something like that. They all said his status was normal, his pulse was okay, nothing to be worried about his health.

-I don’t think he is obsessed with Hou Lei much like that.

-I don’t think that too. The Princess of East Land has rejected our proposal for her married with your brother because of his now status. However, I don’t want to force him to do anything at this time, I can understand his obsession. Hou Lei is very beautiful, nice and kind, outstanding of the other Princesses and Ladies. The Queen was right when choosing her to marry you.

-I also think that I’m the luckiest man in the world when I can have her by my side. However, Father, do you have any further thoughts about Big Brother’s sickness?

-I’m in a mess now when thinking about that. All the best doctors in the royal city have checked for him, but nothing was found.

-We can ask for help from other countries, maybe their doctors met some cases like him in the past and they can help us.

-I will think about that! You look not good, we should stop here, have your meal and take a rest. We will have many works to do in the next days.

-I know, Father, I’ll go first.

Tian Liam returned to Hou Lei’s room. She was waiting for him with a table of delicious food. She also thought about Tian Leong’s strange behaviors. She thought it was not only because of his obsession with her but also something else, something very bad. She needed to find out before everything was lost of control. Tian Liam opened the door and breaking her thoughts.

-Oh, you’re back. – She looked at him. – You look not good!

-I’m okay, just a little bit hungry. – He replied. – Wow, the food looks very tasty.

-Get a sit and eat some of them. I’ll go to get some warm water for you.

She walked out of the room and after some minutes, she came back with a basin of warm water and a towel. He was having his meal with smiles and could not stop putting food into his mouth.
