PART 83 – TIAN LIANG’S STORY_2

That night, at Hou Lei’s room…

-Hou Lei, please, can I be here with you tonight? – Tian Liam asked, holding Hou Lei’s hand with “cat poppy eyes”.

-Not today, Tian Liam, maybe tomorrow when you calm down. – She answered.

-Please, my cutie wife, I promise that I only need to hug you to sleep tonight.

-And then do some bad things to me? Tian Liam, you know I don’t believe in promises.

-Okay, but as you said, tomorrow!

-Yup, I keep my words carefully!

He stood up and prepared to walk out, but he turned back.

-I can’t sleep here today, so I need another benefit before leaving.

And immediately, he kissed on her cheek before she could react. He smiled and ran out of her room rapidly before she could get angry.

-Wang Tian Liam… you’re too good! I will let you know the result. – She said loudly following his steps.

Then she closed the door and sat down on a chair, she laughed in unpreparedly because of his actions. He seemed to be extremely happy today, after knowing her feelings for him. She suddenly remembered the reason why she did not let him be with her tonight. She brought out some herbs from her cabinet and took the book of Hou Ma tribe out, putting them on the table.

“Sorry for interrupting your excitement, Tian Liam. But I need to handle with Tian Liang first, before he could reveal anything about me, the Princess of Hou Ma tribe. I need a seduction spell, to ask him to follow my words, and prevent him from saying out anything harmful to my plan.”

She opened the book and read some pages before stopping at a page written about the spell she needed. Although that was not good when using this seduction spell on a person and it might result in a bad thing, she could not do anything else, she could not let Tian Liang revealed that she was the Princess of Hou Ma tribe to Tian Liam and the Queen, the Emperor. Her plan for finding the Hou Ma gem would be destroyed. Her necessary day was coming near, just two months more and she would know where the Hou Ma gem was, and with the book of Hou Ma tribe, she could bring back her tribe to live and return to the forest where she got familiar with. The most regret thing here with her was Tian Liam, after two years be with him, his love really changed her mind much and also her heart.

She followed the instruction in the book to create the drug by mixing the herbs together. She put them in a vial and lowered the candle in her room for people to think as she prepared to sleep. After a while, she opened the door slightly and looked out of the room for seeking as if anyone was there. When a group of soldiers walked pass her entrance door. She walked out of the room, wearing whole black clothes. She jumped up to the roof of her room and watched far away to determine which building had Tian Liang’s room. She jumped on the roof s of the building as fast as possible to ignore people seeing her. When she reached the room of Tian Liang, she got down to the big yard before his room. A group of soldiers walked across the entrance, she rapidly hid behind a big tree.

She carefully opened the door and looked inside the room. Tian Liang was sleeping on his bed. She walked closer to his bed. He was still very handsome when he was sleeping. She shook her head and reminded herself of the reason she was here. She got out the vial and planned to drop the herbs on his body. There was noise outside the room. A maid saw an assassin. The Soldier General and many soldiers got the place near Tian Liang’s room. She immediately put back the vial to her pocket. He heard the noise and opened his eyes. Luckily, she had hidden behind his wooden cabinet. He got up and got a coat with him to walk out for knowing what had happened. Before leaving, he looked around his room and locked the door.

Hou Lei walked out of the cabinet and tried to open the door but she could not. She used a spell for breaking the lock and got out. Before she left, she walked back to the room and made a mess with his furniture as there was someone finding something in the room.

Hou Lei jumped on the roofs again to return her room. Tian Liang was talking something with the soldiers at the place the maid had seen the assassin, he looked up the to the roof of the buildings and stopped. The Soldier General asked the soldiers to run across the palace to find that assassin and shook him:

-My Second Prince, are you okay?

-Oh, I’m okay, I just heard the noise and walked here to see what happened. – Tian Liang answered.

-I will ask some soldiers to go back with you and protect your room.

-Don’t need, I think that assassin won’t come back, our soldiers are looking for him in every corner in the palace. How dare he want to be here?

-Well, it’s up to you, my Prince.

He returned his room and saw a huge mess in his room. He walked back to the General’s place.

-Mr. Hu, sorry, but could you please ask some soldiers to go to my room?

-What’s the problem, my Prince? You have just denied my suggestion.

-There is a mess in my room, maybe the assassin got there and wanted to have something.

-Okay, I’ll be there with you.

Mr. Hu asked some soldiers went to Tian Liang’s room with him.

-Well, look like the assassin cared much about things of you! – The General looked at the mess and said to the soldiers. – Help the Prince arrange the furniture back.

-I have just returned to our country after a long journey, so I think, the assassin must know that I don’t have many precious things in my room. – Tian Liang replied.

-My Prince, maybe he didn’t know that. We don’t know anything about that guy.

-Please careful with those vases. – Tian Liang said to the soldiers.

-My Prince, I go first to check other places, if you lost anything, please inform me. – The General said. – Goodbye, my Prince!

At that time, Hou Lei returned to her room and changed her clothes into her sleeping clothes. She just laid down on the bed and heard the knock on the door.

-Hou Lei, it’s Tian Liam! – He said with a hurrying voice.

-Why you still find me this time, Tian Liam? – She said with a sleepy voice.

-There was an assassin in the palace. I want to check if you’re okay!

-I’m fine, get in, the weather is very cold tonight.

-You didn’t hear anything from outside? – He sat down on a chair.

-Maybe I was sleeping too deeply. – She poured some tea for him.

-I know that you had said with me this evening, but could I stay here with you tonight? I don’t feel good when letting you alone here with the assassin around in the palace.

-Thank you. – He hugged her. – I was scared that the assassin could hurt you like the last time we met an assassin. I don’t want you to suffer anything like that.

-I know… I know… - She also hugged him.

-I also asked some soldiers come here to protect you, but they are just at the entrance.
